Ken Wadenpfuhl

French horn player Ken Wadenpfuhl earned degrees from Lamar University and the University of Miami. He's played for musical theater (including Yul Brynner in The King & I, backup orchestras for such artists as Frank Sinatra (on tour) and Kenny Rogers, and recorded with Chuck Mangione, Jaco Pastorious, the Bee Gees, and John Denver, among others. In addition to playing orchestral and chamber music, he also composes and arranges instrumental and vocal music. He has played with CityMusic Cleveland since its inception in 2004, and is currently principal horn of Opera Cleveland. Ken has also traveled to Malawi, Africa, for the past few summers, working with orphans, and has recorded a CD of their marvelous choir.
