Wagner (arr Mottle) Wesendonck Lieder for soprano and orchestra

Schubert Symphony No. 3

 

 

In our December concert, we welcome back soprano Chabrelle Williams, performing the beautiful Wesendock Lieder, love songs written by Richard Wagner to the texts of poet Mathilde Wesendock. CityMusic Concertmaster Miho Hashizume and principal violist Jonathan Bagg will feature on Mozart’s popular Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major, and the concert closes with Franz Schubert’s third symphony.
