Michael DiBarry, 27, began violin at age 4. A Pittsburgh native, he received his Master degree in performance at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and his Bachelor degree at McGill University (Montréal). An avid violist as well, Michael began teaching and performing professionally in the Pittsburgh area after attending the Chautauqua Music School Festival Orchestra (2015). Playing engagements include the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh Orchestra, Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, and Washington Symphony Orchestra. In addition to music, Michael speaks both French and Italian and is a formidable cook.
