Maureen Strenge



Maureen Strenge, bassoon, earned a Bachelor of Music degree and a Performer’s Certificatefrom the Eastman School of Music and a Master’s Degree from the Juilliard School. Ms. Strenge is afreelance musician who performs with many different orchestras in the New York metropolitan areaincluding the American Symphony Orchestra, The Metropolitan Opera, The New York Pops,The BardFestival, New York Philharmonic, American Ballet Theater, and the Stamford Symphony. She hassubstituted in various Broadway shows including most recently, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love andMurder and Fiddler on the Roof. Maureen loves teaching and has an active teaching studio. She andher husband ,who have three grown sons, have recently adopted a rescue dog, who she hopes will someday be certified as a therapy dog.
