Lisa Kim received her BM and MM degrees in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with William Preucil, Stephen Rose, and David Updegraff. She also holds a Baroque Certificate from Case Western Reserve University. She plays with orchestras in the Cleveland area such as the Akron Symphony, Canton Symphony, Firelands Symphony and the Cleveland Pops Orchestra. During recent summers, she has participated in Castleton Festival, the National Repertory Orchestra and the International Music Academy-Pilsen.
CityMusic Cleveland is a professional chamber orchestra that performs free concerts throughout Northeast Ohio,often accompanied by exhibits of local artwork.
Since exploding onto the scene in 2004, CityMusic Cleveland has won cheering audiences with beautiful music, brilliantly performed in familiar neighborhood settings.
