Kristin Perry

Kristin Perry is a freelance oboist and English hornist based in Cleveland.  She received her Master’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music as a student of Jeff Rathbun.  Ms. Perry received her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where she was a student of Linda Strommen and Roger Roe.  She has performed with several orchestras, including the Cleveland Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Mansfield Symphony Orchestra, Firelands Symphony Orchestra, and the Camerata Symphony Orchestra.  She also teaches at the Avon School of Music, Lakewood High School, and subs at the Aurora School of Music.  Ms. Perry graduated high school from the Interlochen Arts Academy, where she studied with Daniel Stolper and was the recipient of the Oboe Award.  She began playing oboe in the sixth grade, after having already played piano, flute, and harp.
