Violist Jessica Pasternak is currently a student at the Cleveland Institute of Music studying with Robert Vernon. She has played chamber music with artists such as Atar Arad, Martin Chalifour,Timothy Eddy, Mark Kaplan, Ralph Kirshbaum, Robert Vernon, and Hagai Shaham at chamber music festivals such as the Heifetz Institute and the Sarasota Music Festival. She has also regularly substituted with The Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall, Blossom Music Fes-tival and in Miami, Florida. In 2012, Jessica appeared as a guest soloist with the Akron Symphony on their subscription concert “World Class Begins at Home.” She received a Young Artist Degree from CIM while studying with Lembi Veski-mets in 2012 and was the recipient of the Robert Vernon prize in Viola in 2013.
