Esther Nahm

Esther Nahm, viola, is a freelancer in the Cleveland area. She is currently a member of the Canton, Akron and CityMusic Orchestras, and is a substitute player with the Toledo, Grand Rapids, Rochester and Cincinnati Symphonies. Previously, she was a fellow at the New World Symphony and assistant principal of the Richmond Symphony. She has participated in music festivals including the Sun Valley Summer Symphony, Tanglewood Music Center, Spoleto Festival U.S.A., National Repertory Orchestra, Castleton Music Festival, Banff Centre and the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. She earned a bachelor’s degree and a performance certificate from Boston University as a student of Bayla Keyes, Steve Ansell and Ed Gazouleas and a master’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music as a student of Lynne Ramsey.
