Violinist Chiara Fasani Stauffer was born and raised in Switzerland and received her BM and MM from the Basel University of Music, with a minor in baroque violin from the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. She enjoys playing a broad variety of music and has had the privilege of performing across three continents. Since relocating to Cleveland in 2012 Ms. Stauffer co-founded Time Canvas, a trio performing chamber music and improvisation. She is a member of the FiveOne Experimental Orchestra and City Music Cleveland, and works as a freelance musician in both classical and jazz settings. Additionally, Ms. Stauffer holds a faculty position at the Aurora School of Music.
