Twenty two year old Carter Coleman began studying the violin at age four and is currently finishing his BM in violin performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music with the Cleveland Orchestra’s esteemed concertmaster William Preucil. He has participated in masterclasses with violinists such as: Ida Kavafian, Rodney Friend, Noah Bendix-Balgley and Augustin Hadelich. Over the past two years, Carter has performed across Asia and Europe in the orchestral academies of the Pacific Music Festival and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, holding title chairs in both orchestras.
CityMusic Cleveland is a professional chamber orchestra that performs free concerts throughout Northeast Ohio,often accompanied by exhibits of local artwork.
